Lyn Flaherty

Lyn Flaherty is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, graduating from The Kings University. She offers focused support to women and couples.
Lyn is trained in EMDR through an EMDRIA-approved program, which helps clients process and recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences. She also uses Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), particularly effective in addressing trauma-related thought patterns and beliefs.
When working with couples, Lyn draws on advanced training in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2), offering to improve communication, rebuild trust, increase intimacy, address infidelity, life transitions, and recurring patterns of disconnection. Lyn also supports couples through Prepare & Enrich Premarital counseling.
In her work with women, she supports clients struggling with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, spiritual issues, relational communication, and rebalancing during times of change.
Lyn believes everyone deserves a life filled with joy, connection, and purpose. She partners with God to help guide her clients along this journey by allowing them to heal, grow, and empower them to build on their own strengths.
Lyn has been married to her husband since 1984, and they have two adult children. She has been involved as a ministry volunteer for many years, mentoring women of all ages. She enjoys writing, visiting with friends, boating, going to the gym, and hanging out with family.
