Brittany is a graduate student at Dallas Theological Seminary pursuing her M.A. in Counseling. She earned her B.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado in 2012, followed by many years in ministry working alongside adolescents and young adults, where her passion grew to connect with individuals as a safe place, gentle presence, and empathetic encourager toward hope and healing.
Brittany believes that we all have stories that are continually unfolding. As we seek to understand and make sense of our stories, we grow in learning about ourselves and our connection to others, to develop more rooted and fuller lives. Brittany cares deeply about one’s wholeness – giving space and attention to the mind, the heart, the soul, and the body – to uncover the places we get stuck and connecting with what feels broken. She believes there is no greater honor than to be trusted with even the smallest parts of someone’s story and treasures working with adolescents and adults through trauma, depression, anxiety, boundaries, low self-esteem, sexual abuse, and relational issues.
Brittany is grateful to share a full life with her husband of ten years along with their two young kids. She serves on the leadership team of her church, continuing to invest in young adults and building the mental health ministry, in efforts to help bridge the gap of the deep need for mental, emotional, and spiritual health. She cherishes time spent with family and friends, whether the ballpark with her son, the dance studio with her daughter, live music venues, soaking in the great outdoors, sharing good food and laughter.
