Jacinta Lu

Jacinta is a graduate student at Dallas Theological Seminary, where she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. After several years in corporate consulting roles, walking alongside organizations through complex change, Jacinta sensed a calling from God to help individuals find hope, healing, and freedom in difficult circumstances. She made a significant life transition to Dallas to pursue counseling and is passionate about working with people who are navigating faith, church hurt, identity development, grief, relationships, and major life transitions.
In her counseling work, Jacinta understands that change requires courage, and courage begins with facing fear. She seeks to provide a safe space for others to redefine their limitations and take simple, bold steps each day toward wholeness. Jacinta believes in the power of recognizing the presence of God in the midst of difficult circumstances for direction, security, and hope. Her hope is that every person can be restored to who they were created to be—individuals with access to deep, lasting joy, empowered to change what they can control and free to love themselves and others without fear.
